SKIMZOIL™.... innovative new oil removal system
Perfect for aqueous washers, coolant sumps and other process tanks. The SKIMZOIL™ system effectively pulls off floating oils without removing precious water and valuable chemicals.
This system improves upon the best features of surface skimming equipment and coalescing tanks. Oil and water are drawn through a floating suction in the contaminated process tank and the floating oil is trapped by weirs, in a stainless steel separation tank. The trapped oil is then picked up by an oil-attracting rotating drum. The water level is easily set to allow the drum to only remove oil and prevent drag out of water and chemicals. The oil is simply wiped from the surface of the drum into a separate waste vessel. The clean water returns to the process tank for re-use.

The separation tank is available in three sizes: 15 gallons, 35 gallons and 80 gallons. The smallest unit has a 1 ft - -2 ft footprint and is capable of removing over 25 gallons of free-floating oil per hour. This unit comes wired for 110 VAC and the diaphragm pump utilizes plant.

Benefits.
By effectively removing the oily contaminants, the SKIMZOIL™ system is very valuable at extending the working life of aqueous wash baths and coolant tanks. In addition, the SKIMZOIL™ improves solution performance and reduces harmful bacterial growth, by aerating the solution as it is circulated. got smokin' parts?- Improve Parts Cleaning
- Increase Coolant Life
- Remove Quench Oils
- Diminish Chemical Usage
- Environmental Compliance
Simple
The SKIMZOIL™ system has been designed for simple set-up and ease of use. It does not require frequent adjustment, monitoring or flow balancing to be effective. There is no internal media to plug and one of the tank weirs is removable for ease of maintenance. The separation tank is available in three sizes: 15 gallons, 35 gallons and 80 gallons. Choosing the proper Skimzoil Unit
The size needed is not related to the size of tank being skimmed. It is directly related to the time required for the oil to phase separate.1. Skimzoil™ Model A Floating Oil Removal System Including 15 gallon settling tank = 1 minute or less.
2. Skimzoil™ Model B, Floating Oil Removal System Including 35 gallon settling tank = 2-3 minutes or less
3. Skimzoil™ Model C, Floating Oil Removal System Including 80 gallon settling tank = 3-5 minutes
